Game creators
In October 2022, Cristina and Andreea (21 and 17 years old), two sisters from Romania passionate about board games, thought of making their own game. And did they do it? Yes, we got to work and created the game called EUropean Journey: A Unity Adventure. To promote it in our local community, we talked to people, and even offered some already printed games for free to children who answered a general culture question correctly.Pretty cool, right?

But where did the idea of EU values in a game come from? During the pandemic, my sister and I, along with many other children, faced problems related to anxiety and depression. We were able to overcome these things with the help of friends, family and people who were understanding of our situation, who accepted us, helped us reintegrate into society and make friends. So we thought of creating a game that would bring young people together, have fun, communicate, debate various topics, help each other and accept one another even if they are different. Together we are stronger!
How to get the game?

"EUropean Journey: A Unity Adventure" is a board game that you build yourself. Yes, you are the creator of the game. You have the freedom to customize it in whatever colors you want or to print it in the colors we propose. Invite your friends for a board game night and warm up with assembly. Sounds fun, right? Go to the "Game Setup" section and let the fun begin.

Now you may be wondering why we don't just send it to you by mail already ready to play. Here you have a couple of reasons:

Because we support equality and we want our game to be available to everyone. There are no barriers that stop you from having fun with EUropean Journey.

When you assemble the game yourself, you develop skills such as creativity, independence, responsibility, and collaboration. By building it together with friends, it promotes collaboration and teamwork to achieve a common goal. This is a fun and interactive way to learn and involve EU values.
How to play the game?
Each player starts the game with a blue rectangle (the EU flag without the stars), 2 benefit cards, and chooses a pawn to represent them on the game board. The pawns are placed at the start, a small debate is organized between the players and it is decided who will roll the dice first.
As they advance on the game board, players will have to complete a series of challenges that are drawn from the pile of challenge cards. They have to complete the challenge written on the card they drew to receive a golden star as a reward. If they do not want to complete the challenge, they can use a benefit card to give it to another player or draw another card.
The first player to complete the European Union flag and collect 12 golden stars will receive the title of "European Adventurer". The winners are all the players who have participated. All of them have learned something new, had fun, communicated, helped each other, discovered and applied the values of the European Union so they deserve the crown
